Our receptionist will greet you in the lobby that is located as you exit the elevators. We have three spacious conference rooms where your planning meetings can be held in comfort. Born and raised in Columbus, GA, Mike attended Hampden-Sydney College in central Virginia where he was played in the scrum on the H-SC Rugby team. After graduating with an economics degree in 1999, Mike returned to Georgia and began his career as a financial planner.
Mike’s practice is focused on helping families navigate the challenges that come in the last third of life. Because standard retirement planning concentrates mostly on investments, it leaves many loose ends. By utilizing the planning process recommended by the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Board of Standards, Mike ties up those loose ends and prepares his clients for every aspect of retirement – even the more challenging late-life transitions.
Mike and his wife of 20 years, Liz, live in Dunwoody with their two daughters. Julianne is a senior at Mount Vernon School and Virginia is a sixth grader at St. Jude the Apostle. They have a beautiful but hyper Springer Spaniel named, Mackie. Most weekends they can be found around Dunwoody or in Auburn, Alabama cheering on the Tigers.
Mike enjoys being involved in his community and is actively involved in Dunwoody Preservation Trust and the Rotary Club of Dunwoody.
A weekend guitarist and songwriter, Mike’s down time is spent in the studio, recording and producing songs with a myriad of touring musicians and session players.
